Been there, done that. Non detergent oil is a great discussion topic in itself. My "H" had non detergent oil used in it from 1950 until 1993 when I could no longer buy it. I tore the tractor down in 1980; it was clean so I guess it was changed regular. It was an Esso Mineralube product straight #30 with anti scuff properties. Any way, I had to switch to a different Esso oil with some detergent properties. The dealer said a lot of truckers use it. It's worked well for me. If you clean the whole engine up and switch to detergent oil you'll be fine!
