Here are some pics of what I've got done so far on the 450D. The head was pulled and found to have 10 cracks, so I went ahead and got a rebuilt one. #1 and #4 sleeves had cracks from top to bottom, and I was able to push all the sleeves out by hand. I don't see any cracks in the block, but will have it fluxed to be sure. I plasti gauged the main and rod bearings, but there really wasn't any use, they were shot. Rod bearings were pitted bad,and the mains looked as if someone wrapped 80grit sandpaper around the journals and fired it up. I can feel grooves in the crank journals, not for sure if .030 under is going to get it done or not. Cam bearings, pistons and rods don't look too bad, but am going to put new ones in anyways. The funny thing is, this tractor started up on gas just fine and ran on diesel perfectly. Didn't smoke at all, didn't use a drop of oil and there wasn't any water/antifreeze in the oil. I guess once the motor is back together, I'll go through the TA and rear end, and see what I find. Then start removing all paint/rust and have it ready to paint.
