Yes, you can make the system generate pressure by moving the touch control levers to the end of the travel and holding there. That would cause all the fluid to go through your remote valve and to the return from the remote valve where ever you decide to put that. That return will have to go to a low pressure location. If you put it back in the pressure line to the touch control, you won't get enough pressure to work anything. If you put it elsewhere (like the pump suction line) you won't be able to use the touch control because it will not have pressure supply. Of course you could put a valve in the return line from the remote that you could close off when you wanted to use the touch control.
