Looking for imput in overhauling a 49 Cub. Block needs bored approx 40thous. Machine shops waiting.Everything else is done,new valves,crank turned,heads milled, blocks been decked to compensate for lowering valves for better seat material. Some have suggested a latter model piston that may have a little higher comp.and be alum. which sounds like it might help. Any experence in the piston dept? This is my first and have fallen in love with this thing. Cars now sit outside while she sits warm and dry inside being completely rebuilt and repainted. This WebSite has been very helpful and the pictures of restored Cubs has been my inspiration. Thanks Bryan
