You can do it yourself, but prepare to get plenty dirty down under the tractor and be careful taking out the Lift All unit. As others said, it's heavy. But before you get into that try what others have said here to see if you can break the thing loose first. If you have to take the clutch out, I suggest taking it to a Clutch rebuild shop. That is what I did and they rebuilt the clutch with new facing, new springs, new throw out bearing. The rebuild cost was $141. Get a service manual before you go to work on taking out the clutch! You don't have to split the tractor to get the clutch out, but it's a chinese puzzle.
