If the 1486 checks out as the other guys have said then buy it. It is a lot more tractor than the 4430 as far as power goes and in my opinion just as nice. I drove a 4430 with about that many hours on it once (quad range) and it wasn't exactly easy to shift either. Had to jerk those levers around just like the IH. (By the way I was driving the 4430 home from the JD dealership for a friend. It had just had $4000 spent on engine).
