6 to 12V using a 6V Gen.

To the person who e-mailed me about this conversion. I'm sorry, but I deleted you msg. in error.
I use a 12V battery, coil and regulator and the original generator and starter. I use the original 6V wiring diagram. On my SA I had the starter rewound for 12V, on my H I use the original 6V starter, but have broken two bendix springs in the past 10-15 years.
This conversion works especially well on the H were there is little room under the hood. Without removing the battery box cover the conversion looks original.
While 6 to 12V conversions are not for the purist or show tractor folks it does works well for me.
