That is what I would do. When I got Old Smokey M about 8 weeks ago, it was only running on 2. The culprits on Old Smokey was a dead spark plug on #1 and a dead wire on #3. The next time I was out I installed newer points, new distributor cap, plug wires and AC C86 spark plugs. Now she fires after the second crank. WEAR HEAVY GLOVES when you pull those wires off each plug.! Those dang wires can bite if they are alive. I bet you are not running on all 4. What spark plugs do you currently have in there?
