I wonder if the steering box is the same as on the C??? If so, I have a C front bolster with steering gear in it that I think is still in decent shape, except the bolster itself is broken. I think the inside parts are still OK. If you get a parts catalog for your 240, send me the description and part numbers you need and I will check to see if you can use them.
