I agree with the pulley diameter statement. I buy pulleys for my 12V conversions from a hardware store and machine the center to the shaft size. I used something in the range of 2" pulley on my Delco alt on my 300 w/ loader and hoe to get the the thing excited (start charging) at a lower engine RPM, an added bonus is better output at low RPM to run acc like lights for night use. Just use a good quality belt to deal with the radius of the pulley. Hope it helps. Wayne
