Harlen - You probably need to replace the brake friction disks on both sides. It's a simple job and no special tools are required. You'll need 4 new friction disks to do both brakes. While you have the brakes off, recommend disassembling the center disk set. Thoroughly clean the balls and the ramps the balls run in. Then lightly dust the balls and ramps with dry graphite lube or similar before reassembling.
