I used to own a Massey Ferguson 65, which I believe is essentially the same tractor as the 165, only a little older. The Farmall M is more fun, but for farm work the Massey is more practical with the three point hitch and power steering. Before you buy, however, check the brakes. If the Massey doesn't have good brakes, it will either cost you a lot of time, work, money, or all three to replace them. The brakes are a lot easier to replace on the Farmall. It all depends on what you are wanting out of a tractor. I now use a Farmall H and wouldn't trade it for the world.
