extra low gear set

I usually hang out on the orange page, however I have a question for you red guys. I was at a show/swap meet with my red tractor friend, who has no computer, and we saw a set of "extra low gears" for an M. He has an H, to me the transmissions look the same, are they and will the M gears work? Maybe they look the same but the M has larger gears? Thanks, Tom
