I have a 187-two way on a B when I sand blasted it I would look carefully at the pieces to see what color they were yours is about the same age so here is how mine was when new the bottoms are black on the back the beams are red the limkage is red the rolling cutters were red the joiners were black the pieces that bolt to the front steering some were red and some were black I have some cults for Bs and the paint scheme if dirrerent on some you will be able to tell when you clean it like I said when I sand blasted it was very carefull and observed what colors were under the rust have read the paint schemes that were handed down that doesent mean that the code was followed to the letter in machinery do you need any parts I have the parts bookfor a lot of old plows

Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
