I know what your're thinking about the high mounted PTO on the SA. I rented a fertilizer spreader a while back, and on left hand turns, the telescoping shaft bottomed out. I finally figured it out, this is the reason for the triangular, 6" or so drawbar extension you see on some tractors. After I made one of those, the wagon worked perfectly on tight turns. I'd guess it would work for most other PTO implements too. I think a drawing of the extension can be found in dealer part books.
