Look on the gasket. Mine said "Sealant Required" right on the gasket. One other tip: Re-torque, re-torque, and then...re-torque. The gasket crushes and the studs relax a bit. It has been 2 months since I put the head on my H and last Sunday I was able to turn the nuts almost a quarter of a turn to bring them back to spec. Unfortunately, you have to remove the rocker arm assembly to check them. It may be a bit messy but it beats a leaky gasket.
