Well, just for the fun of it I figured I'd toss in another conflicting opinion ;-) I believe the tanks have the same mounting brackets, but the straight A and B tanks will have the fuel outlet and sediment bowl farther back towards the center of the tank. The Super A and C tanks moved the outlet foward to the front of the tank to clear the touch control assy. In other words, C and Super A tanks would go on the earlier tractors, but the other way around would cause you trouble.
