Clyde- got out my service man's hand book for Super C touch control. I looked at the exploded view of the check valve actuator assemblies. I see what you mean about a flat piston top and no way to grab on to it. I didn't have trouble getting mine out. Guess they were slightly out of the bore when I took the head off. Must have a slight ridge worn into the bore that the o ring won't go past.looks to me like air pressure is the only those pistons are going to come out. What if you cleaned and lubricated the cylinder wall while pushing the piston in? I'm sure you've tried everything I am suggesting. Another shot in the dark- get some 2by4 blocks, turn the unit so the piston bores are facing down between the 2by4 blocks and drop the unit on the blocks as gently as possible. I know the thing is heavy and may take two people but it may be worth a try. Shouldn't hurt anything if the unit lands on the wood. Man, I am out of ideas! Maybe a real IH mechanic will see this and respond. Email me at jereh02@msn.com when you get it figured out. Wish I could be more help!

We arrived hoping to meet up with a man we knew had over one
