Leaking @ overflow line on bosch va cr pump

Any suggestions would be most welcome on the following problem: Got my 574 back from the shop where the injection pump was removed and subsequently reinstalled. All is well except an annoying leak at the return line junction at the overflow valve. I've tried removing the line, looking for burrs on the mating surfaces and installing new copper washers. I have tried everything I can think of (even tried a smidgeon of hydraulic sealer: liquid teflon thread sealer - I hated to try that!). I have not tried softer washers (lead?)or a new pipe junction 'cause I don't have access to those parts. Anybody ever had this problem?
