Well, lets see now- I've just run out of fuel, and I'm on a 6% grade downhill. I'm following your advice and trying to coast to a stop, but I seem to be going faster instead of slower. So now what? But seriously, folks- do you guys really drive these things around on the public thoroughfares without brakes? I've always found, as a general proposition, that you really need a pedal that will stop a machine without depending on the engine running, etc., in case a kid runs into the road, car pulls out, etc. I can't believe you're chastising a guy because he prefers not to drive without brakes.
