I have a 99 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the 6 liter 300 HP gas engine and manual transmission. Also have an engine oil cooler. I have hauled the MD and the Shop mule at the same time. I think total weight of the trailer with tractors would be around 12,000. I can maintain 60 mph on most interstate grades. Any that have steep grade signs will be slower. I don't go very far with that configuration. Any more than 100 miles or so, and it's only the MD by itself. Sure would like to have one of those new Chevy Duramax diesels. Your 6 cylinder Chevy 2500 must be an older one. With a 6 cylinder and that kind of weight, you are going to be going a lot slower.
