856 Gas?

Went to buy an 856 sat when I got their it was a Gas The hood said turbo on it. This threw me off , Then I was told the tractor was a diesel and that some one put a gas engine in it? went back and checked the engine has casted on the side 301 called a buddie and he said the engine could be out of a 806 or a combine tractor runs good but what am I in for at $2600.00 What h.p. how many gallons per hour? Or should I just pass on it?
