Alabama, you shoulda been a good neighbor and returned the clay and then some. If your eyesight is like mine that clay may have been accidently got dumped on his car or other inconvient location. Then you could have made a special point of telling him what a good person you are for doing all that work for him. I'm sure he would have thanked you from the bottom of his heart and you would have been neighbor of the month.
