Don't have a loader, but I always jack the back end of my MD with a bottle jack under the drawbar. Always block it up with cribbing when working on it. Never tried the trick of loosening the clamp bolts and driving the thing to move the wheels on the axle. My second hobby is wood working, so I used a wood workers pipe clamp (uses 3/4 inch pipe) between the two wheel hubs to brake it loose. After broken loose, fairly easy to slide with the help of a little liquid wrench, or similar lubricant.
