Safety gas caps? (Which tractors was this relevant to?)

I have seen some of the discussions on this board about the safety gas caps. I was wondering if this was relevant to the letter series tractors. If this applies to a Farmall Super A could someone please fill me in on the details of this. Thanks in advance.
