I have a 311 plow- fast hitch also. Have you tried adjusting the angle of the hitch prongs? Mine has three different holes the prongs can bolt up to to change their angle. Also the plow should not set level (parallel) with tractor axle. The rh side of the plow should be higher than the left, when the plow is in the ground and the RH tractor wheel is in the furrow the plow should be laterally level (parallel) with the ground. The nose of the plow should be slightly lower than the tail when it just starts into the ground. Good plow shares will also help. I spent many hours with one of those plows behind a 656 after school working evenings when I was a kid. That was the good old days.
