I bought a "CHAMPION" Battery at Wal-mart made by GNB Tech. There was NOTHING CHAMPION about the battery except the label. Battery fell apart on the inside, which reduced voltage, and started My pickup on fire. GNB wouldn't stand behind their product, NOR would WALMART. The battery I put back in the truck was made by Johnson Controls. Never had a problem with them. Never done business with WAL-MART or GNB Technologies again either! Truck dealership said the GNB battery failed Every test the truck MFG. had in their service book. I replaced battery and the alterantor and wiring harness that burned up and the truck ran fine for the next 2-1/2 yrs. GNB and their "Claims Management Co." said the battery was fine. I even talked to the guy who did the test up in Minneapolis. I told Him to put the battery In His car for a week and tell Me how darn good it was. He said He wouldn't. That was enough to convince Me that GNB AND WAL-MART are companies I can NOT afford to do business with anymore.
