The TD-6 has the same engine as the Farmall MD and W-6. The rear seal is comprised of felt in two pieces that are held in place by aluminum holders. My son just replaced his on his MD that he is rebuilding and got them from our CaseIH dealer. He had his engine pulled to completely rebuild it and so he put his in then. I think that you might be able to remove the oil pan and the bottom holder and push them in from the bottom. Supposedly you can replace the clutch on the MD without splitting the tractor. On the crawler I don't know. I don't know if the bell housing is the same as the MD. The TD-6 isn't covered by the I&T shop manual. Maybe you can get a copy of the origional IH shop manual from this site or your Case IH dealer. Good luck.
