Thought I would share with ya'll how I filled my badly pitted sheet metal and will prevent it from ever rusting again. I took fiberglass resin, mixed it up and applied it to the complete grill with a brush. You will be very supprised how well it coats the pits. As a side effect, if the paint ever chips or I scratch my paint job the fiberglass will protect the metal. The finish is very smooth and thick. It dries quickly too. The only thing you have to watch is runs. It takes a bit to get used to and its kind of messy but I bet that grill will out last any of the new ones out. I did not get any brush marks either. It flows into the hard to get cracks too.
