yes you can reuse the sleeves pull them with a good puller and clean them up hone them and use new rings like PC costs 67 remember we are not going to a race or an extended plowing contest use plastiguage it will tell you how much wear ther might be I have a ball mike this gives me a good reading on the inserts the crank can be miked in several places on each bearing this will tell you if it is out of round or take it to a good machine shop pulled apart a block last week serial no 4010 crank has less than 3thous bearings are pretty good also hard to believe that old and in that good shape oil was in all the bearings pan was terrible with sludge but the oil was pretty clean hope this helps you probably will find lots of junk after the sleeves are removed this block had almost a gallon of scale in the cooling areas all the holes were plugged where the water goes down past the sleeves and out the lower part of the block no wonder these make funny sounds when shut off after a mowing job glad to help anytime gene b
