Thanks to the great response from members of this chat line and the classified advert, I have either obtained, or at least have located sources for the parts needed to repair my flipped tractor. When I went to pick up parts this afternoon, I saw something really worth the seeing. Pulling into the yard, the fellow's pickup was sitting there, with personal license "MR BN". That seemed odd; his name is "Keith." As we were looking for a gasket I noticed some offset tractors in the building, and asked about them. "That one by you, with no paint, is a BN. The other two are Bs. When we're done here I'll show you the others." One B had the single front wheel, which made it look quite unique. Sure enough, when we walked to another shed, there were two beautiful, nearly identical BNs and a Cub with a wire mesh grille. He said he has twice turned down $7,500 for the one nearest the door but he's done showing them now, and will accept it if it's made again. I about choked but they are such attractive machines a collector might set a really high value on one. Matter of fact, it would be great to have one of the standard Bs sitting in the shed!
