According to my parts manual, the vertical exhaust was a factory option. Different manifold and hood at least. The hood is part number 365 393 R11. I've never seen one that way, though, only underslung exhaust. How's your steering box rebuild going? I'm pulling my 300U into the garage this weekend for steering, exhaust, electrical and fast-hitch work over the winter.
