Larry-That may be a Schwartz wide front you have. They were originally orange in color. I have one and frankly I think they are stronger than the IH wide fronts. They don't look original, as you said, but if you are thinking loader on the M it would be a good deal. I see on mine the holes on the mounting plate that bolts to the bolster have been widened a little with a torch. Otherwise I don't see a problem with it. If I were you I would fix that H. There are lots of blocks around cheap.
