Was trying(and I mean trying) to keep the racoons out of the garden by trapping them. More coons than you could trap!! Success against the racoons came when I figured out the answer to the problem was an electric fence. One wire about 6-8 inches and another about 12-16 inches above the ground and no more racoons. I did catch some racoons in the live trap. Found the racoons are the only animal of several that I trapped that is smart enough to leave the trap immediately when you open it after they have resided there for 12 hours or so.
