Joe, Sorry -- I should have made that point a little clearer -- it was a mistake because the part in question is 50 years old and with all the stress that part takes, I should have known it was going to fail. It's called age-induced metal fatigue. In the aircraft business we call it "Tired Iron." After 50 years of dedicated service, that part decided to go on to Tractor Part Glory Land. It doesn't look like a very good design, anyway. If you go the 3-py route, I'd recommendreplacing it with new ones, as you'll have to replace them sooner or later anyway when the hitch falls off in the middle of the field.... Thanks, John
