Are you sure it isn't coming from the steering gear box? My 504 did that (got the front tires oily) and it turned out to be the seal around the shaft that the tricycle front is bolted to. I had to rebuild the entire unit because the bearings were also bad. I have a front end loader on the tractor which puts a lot of strain on the tricycle front. I added a Schwartz wide front.
