Clyde I looked at my clamps and I don't have anything like what you describe. My clamps are basically 2 nearly identical halves, one half has the eyebolts built into it and the other half has slots to recieve the bolts on one set and holes to recieve the bolts on the other set. Maybe those pieces are part of an implement that utilizes these clamps? Maybe someone else knows.............
