The noise will only hert your ears not the PTO. There are 2 seals on front of the PTO one to keep the oil in the transmision and one to keep the oil in the PTO the front one that keeps the oil in the transmision is leaking oil into the PTO over filling the PTO and causing it to leak out the breather.
