The final drives are rotated toward the front. The pan that is normally on the bottom is toward the front. The rotation is a little less than 90 degrees. A plug has been added to the pans to fill the final drive with oil, since it can't be done through the plug in the casting which is made for that and with the rotation is out of place. Oil circulation won't be a problem as long as the bull gear is in the oil. If you put the final drives upside down, you would not get oil circulation, and the tractor would be too low.
