Farmall A Temp Gauge

Hey Guys...I was wondering if you guys knew wether or not if a '47 farmall A is supposed to have a temp gauge on it somewhere?...mine doesnt but I would like to have one...this summer I boiled it over while tedding some hay and I dont want to do that again...I have had the raditor serviced after this but would just like to have an idea of what kind of temp Im running...if there isnt suppose to be one has anyone put one on anyways???...well guys thanks for the info...
