I'm still unclear as to which tractor you are refering. Please post again with pros and cons of each of the tractors you have or are considering trading for.
Generally, I would think that you would have to kick in $ with your C to get an M.
The best case senario would be for you to keep the C and buy the M. (but don't get in a hurry.) also, an honest private party would be better than a dealer as far as price goes.
