Do what you like. I can't help with the pros and cons of the C versus M as far as pushing snow, but I can tell you that Cs usually go for about $500 more than an M in Alabama. I don't know if you can get a loader for that proce or not. You charging problem is very likely in the voltage regulator or cutout relay. Have you tried polorizing the one that is on there? Take a short peice of wire and briefly touch the BAT terminl to the GEN terminal. You say it is 12 volt which would mean that it has an alternator instead of a generator, which would change the complection of things substantially. If you have a charging problem with a 12 volt alternator, Bob M is the man you need.
