The plant is the old IH plant at Doncaster, England. Case was indeed told to sell the plant so they could merge with New Holland. Landini bought it and the rights to the McCormick name; they then set up an independent subsidiary called McCormick Tractors International Ltd. They ramped up production earlier in the year. I'm anxious to see one in person. I'm also glad to see the McCormick name back on a RED tractor.
