When dad sold the farm ,I bought the 44 "M" and with a 45 JD loader on it. no problem installing on "M" only couple things we did to strenghten loader ---1) we welded large pads to axle loader mtg bkts. 2) same with brace bar frame mtg. 3) welded 3/8 x 3 flat from xmember(like wings horizontal)(by bucket) to end of loader horn(where bucket is pinned to loader. horns on this loader is weaker then rest of loader. 4) left snow wings on bucket and went to larger lift rams and converted to hyd. bucket. Go for it the 45 loader is one of the better of the antique loaders. I like mine very much when I restored the "M" the loader was painted IH red to match. Good Luck.
