300U pressure plate adjustment

Just split 300U for replacement of flywheel ring gear. Before I split the machine I noticed that the clutch pedal went down almost to the bottom of travel before it engaged (linkage has been adjusted}. I had looked through the bottom inspection cover and noticed that the pressure plate
fingers were quite a way from the front of the throw out bearing. Is there a specific height for the fingers? I see such a spec. for the TA clutch But not for the engine clutch.
