PB Blaster was the last thing I used although the ATF, Coke, and MMO probably helped a little not to mention the 'terminator tool'. I was supprised how well the head looks considering how stuck the engine was. My plans were to give the head a good cleaning and check things like the valve guides and valve stems, as George recommended. I should surface the head just in case it got hot sometime.
