Bought IH tractor back in January, the hood said 350U but when I got the owners manual. I found out that the tractor was a 300U. The 300U has a steel spoked steering wheel whereas the 350U should have a molded plastic wheel. The 300U engine block has the designation C-169 cast into the left side of the block near the back. The 350U block says C-175. I think the 350U has a white grill & hood inlet. The 300U is all red. I hope this helps you out. I think that the only real difference is the engine displacement & clutch pedal.
