If it was a fel-pro gasket. It could be the problem rebuilt y w6 and checked the head twice. Started to plow 4 acres and the head gasket let go. Checked with My dealer and said they will not use the Fel-pro gasket because it does not have metal on both sides and causes burn through. Went and paid for a gasket from IH. The gasket was etal on both sides installed it and have had no problems finished field. Best of luck with yours.
