Sounds like fuel flow restriction then. Shut off the gas and unhook the fuel line at the carburetor. Turn it back on and see if you are getting a good flow. If so, then remove the screen filter from the carburetor and inspect. If the flow is not good, then you will need to remove the bowl and turn the gas back on. If you have good flow, then you have a restriction in the line. If the flow is not good, then you might have a restriction in the strainer assembly inlet pipe. While you have the bowl off, inspect the bowl screen.
