If your cylinder will not stay up you could have a blown cylinder and so the oil will not stay full on the other side of the ram. This will cause it to cavitate and then more oil will return to the reservoir and cause it to over flow. If you cant get any down pressure with your loader it could also be your spool valve has a crack or is worn out and that could also cause the cavitation of a cylinder. Paul
